Ekklesia, a UK based Christian ‘Think-tank’ (that is how they like to call themselves), embarks on a new study to reconsider the place of secularism in public space.
Currently a number of Christian denominations are attacking what they perceive as secularism to be a threat to their faith (Recently Mario Conti said the Catholic faith coming under attack). But are they right to unleash their venom against ‘secularism’? Do they really think that secularism is to blame that their churches are getting emptier? Or should they look closer to home? Are they barking on the wrong tree?
I hope that this study will cover some of these questions and I am looking forward to see what they come up with.
